VitrA Retromix

Retromix is a collection of porcelain tiles that reinterprets traditional graphic patterns in a new way. The square wall and floor tiles are available on the one hand in ethnic colours that give a sense of the past and create the impression of handcrafted work. The collection however also offers tiles with a strong black-and-white contrast to create graphical effects through the interplay with a warm and a cool cement grey. This vast range of choices means the collection easily fits into different contemporary interiors.

Statement by the Jury

The design of the Retromix porcelain tile collection focuses on providing versatility and manages to combine tradition with modernism in an artistic way.
