The name of the Wangfeng Cookware Series is inspired by a Yuan Dynasty-era painting that shows the silhouette of China’s Fuchun Mountains. “The pots and pans feature a relief that is integrated into the lower section as a raised silhouette,” said the jury. “The set changes in appearance over time: the white of the Wangfeng Cookware Series gradually blackens in the middle and lower part of the cookware after prolonged use, and the structure of the relief becomes noticeably darker, which in turn is reminiscent of the painting of the Fuchun Mountains.”
