This plastic bag is made of polyvinyl alcohol, a synthetic material, and food additives. It is completely water-soluble. This is achieved by adding a hydrophilic group to the polymer chain, which increases the water solubility of the material. The bag can be completely dissolved within five minutes, producing a harmless and environmentally safe milky-white liquid.
