“WE CARE” is the main theme of the application for the title of Capital of Culture 2025 of the city of Hildesheim. The publication visualises this with an aesthetic developed from contour lines in cartography. A neon magenta line runs dynamically through the book, complemented by accents in two other neon colours. To intensify the effect, the neon colours were printed in double colour. The cover, made of cardboard with a very high wood content, shows a beet and a rose connected by laser engraved contour lines. The book has coloured pages, which create a luminous effect when turned.
