This lipstick is unusual in both shape and function. The actual colour is located on a compact card that merely needs to be removed from its sleeve and moved between the lips in order to apply it. Therefore, no mirror is required, and the lipstick can be kept in a handbag or jacket pocket, where it takes up very little space. The black sleeve features a cut-out to give the product a high-quality look and reveal the respective colour of the lipstick.
Statement by the Jury
Yanzhi represents a fundamental and innovative rethink of the lipstick. The pared-back design makes it very practical to use as well as being highly aesthetic.
