YOLOTL Salsas

This packaging for a Mexican salsa conveys the authenticity of a “Sabor de México” (Taste of Mexico). The brand name YOLOTL means “heart” in the indigenous language Nahuatl of the Aztecs. In line with the visual concept, following the motto “Modern Aztec”, the packaging and logo design reinterpret the Aztec roots as well as elements from the visual language of this ancient culture and translate them into a modern approach. To differentiate the sauces, the design works with a distinctive symbol and colour for each flavour. The labels are printed on uncoated paper and refined with gold hot-foil stamping.
