The YZF690 is a new middleweight supersport model designed to help bridge the performance gap between the entry-level R3 and the flagship R1. Based on the chassis from the MT-07 platform with revised dimensions, the motorcycle features the slimmest bodywork in the series and offers precise handling. The YZF690 is suitable for the track and the street and retains the characteristic design of the R-Series.

Its streamlined and aerodynamic design with a sporty rear and heavy modelled tank clearly distinguishes the YZF690 as a supersport model and makes it a real eye-catcher on the streets.
