The Z 30 mirrorless digital camera is the smallest and lightest APS-C model in its manufacturer’s portfolio. Although the camera is also suitable for photography, the focus is on video. In this context, it appeals to beginners while also meeting the more sophisticated needs of experienced filmmakers. The jury liked how the camera supports a variety of shooting positions: the swivel and tilt display allows the user to record videos from both waist and eye level, and the record button can be conveniently operated in any camera position. The display can also be folded forwards for selfies. The enlarged grip facilitates a comfortable and secure hold, even when filming for long periods from extreme positions.
