The ZooSinDang oriental dining bar and restaurant is in the Sindang-dong district of Seoul. The design aims to create a link to the market activities and fortune teller houses of the surrounding streets. The exterior design therefore recalls an improvised market stall made of wooden slats and straw mats, while the interior offers a strong visual contrast. It is based on the idea of a mysterious forest of zodiac signs with hanging plants suspended from the ceiling adding a fascinating upside-down illusion. The leitmotif of the 12 animals of the Asian horoscope is referenced by various design elements in the bar.
