Step 1: Book your Winner Package – now

What does the Winner Package include?

The Winner Package includes various measures and certificates for winners of the Red Dot Design Award. These include, among others:

The use of the Red Dot Label
The Red Dot Certificate in duplicate
Winners of the Red Dot: Best of the Best also receive the Red Dot Trophy
Publication of the award-winning project in the Winner Section
Publication in the International Yearbook Brands & Communication Design
Presentation of the award-winning product at the Red Dot Design Museum

As soon as you have completed the booking of your Winner Package with successful receipt of payment, you can use your Red Dot Label and communicate your success in the competition.

All services and options of the Winner Package can be found in detail in the brochure “Services for Winners”, which you can download from your My Red Dot account.

Step-by-step guide to booking your Winner Package

Log in to your account at www.myreddot.de.
Select the menu item “Book your Winner Package”.
Select the size of your yearbook entry.
Specify the contact person for the release of your product presentations.
_{Under the menu item “Specify contact persons for publication” you can specify who we should contact for the release of your presentation materials. The release must take place between 13 and 17 May 2024. If you are unable to attend during this period, please specify a deputy. To specify your representative, you will need the PI code of your award-winning product as well as the first and last name, email address, telephone number and company name of the relevant person.}
Decide whether you would like to order a specimen copy of the Red Dot Design Yearbook.
Optional: Order additional copies of the yearbook for a fee.
_{If you order additional paid copies via the Red Dot Winner Shop in your My Red Dot account by}_{30 June 2024}_{, you will receive them together with your specimen copy.}
Optional: Order additional certificates for a fee.

Take a look at the details of your booking and check them.
Enter the invoice recipient.
_{Optional: Enter an individual order number, for example for further processing in your accounting department.}
Confirm the General Terms and Conditions.
Download the invoice.
_{You can now make payments by credit card or PayPal directly in your My Red Dot account.}
Your booking is complete once payment has been received.

Step 2: Confirm or edit your credit details – now

What are credits?

Credits are details of your product and the people involved in the product. Your credits will be used on the Red Dot Certificates and for all publications of your award.

Review and release of your credits by 17 April

Under the menu item “My Credits” you can view all the details you have entered during the registration process.
Please check the information provided carefully.
You have the option of releasing or editing your data up to and including 17 April 2024.
You can add nine more people individually to the design teams, e.g. six people for in-house design and three people for an external design agency.
You must enter the first and last names of other project participants.
If we do not receive any feedback from you by 17 April 2024, the information you provided when registering will be used automatically.
In the approval phase, the credits are shown to you again for final checking.

Step 3: Communicate your success – following the Winner Package booking

When can I start communicating my success?

Once payment has been received and the Winner Package has been booked, you can download your Red Dot Label and communicate your success.

You can find the Red Dot Media Support, which provides inspiration for communicating about your award-winning product, here.

Where can I find the winning label?

We provide you with various versions of the winning label, as PNG and EPS files, under the menu item “Red Dot Label”. The label package also includes the Design Manual, which explains the correct use of the quality seal.

Communicating your success through Red Dot

On 30 April 2024, we will inform the international design trade press that this year’s winners have been announced. Not all winners will be announced individually at this time. However, we will support the press representatives in their research and reporting with lists of winners for specific categories and countries.
On 24 June 2024, we will publish all winners of the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2024 in the Winners Section.
Throughout the year, we regularly present award winners via the Red Dot social media channels. We aim to showcase as wide a range of winning products as possible. Please understand that we cannot place all the winners.

If you would like a communication embargo, please let us know by e-mail to embargo@red-dot.de by 22 April 2024.

Step 4: Ticket bookings for the award ceremony – from April or May

Ticket booking for Red Dot: Best of the Best winner – from 24 April

As a winner of the Red Dot: Best of the Best, you can already book tickets for the award ceremony on 24 June from 24 April 2024. Regular advance sales start on 6 May.

Two free tickets are automatically reserved for you for each award-winning Best of the Best product. The two tickets are valid for the Red Dot: Best of the Best Reception, the Red Dot Gala and the Designers' Night.
These tickets must be booked by you by 17 May.
To book your free tickets, you will need the PI code of your award-winning product as well as the first and last names, e-mail addresses and telephone numbers of the future ticket holders.
The number of tickets for both events is very limited
A credit card or PayPal account is required to book additional tickets.

Ticket booking for Red Dot winners – from 6 May

You can book your tickets for the award ceremony from 6 May.

The number of tickets for both events is very limited. It is therefore worth booking early.
A total of six tickets for the Red Dot Gala and ten tickets for the Designers’ Night can be booked per registrant.
To make a booking, you will need the PI code of your award-winning product as well as the first and last names, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses of the intended ticket holders.
Furthermore, either a credit card or a PayPal account is required.

Red Dot: Best of the Best Reception

The reception at the Red Dot Design Museum marks the start of the Red Dot: Best of the Best winners’ day. Questions about the upcoming Red Dot Gala will be answered over snacks and drinks. Exclusively explore the three special exhibitions showcasing the competition winners and the Red Dot: Design Team of the Year 2024.

We look forward to welcoming the holders of the two free tickets to this mandatory event.

Red Dot Gala

If you have booked tickets for the Red Dot Gala, we look forward to welcoming you in person at the Aalto Theatre in Essen on 24 June. The Red Dot Gala is a unique event that attracts around 1,200 guests from the international design scene every year. The centrepiece of the event is the presentation of the Red Dot Trophies to the winners of the Red Dot: Best of the Best. You will also be surprised by the cultural programme accompanying the gala.

Designers‘ Night

Following the Red Dot Gala, we want to celebrate your success with you. Vernissage, beer garden, bar and club - the evening offers a varied programme and takes place in the Red Dot Design Museum, which is located on the grounds of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Zeche Zollverein in Essen.

During the Designers’ Night you have the opportunity to have a professional photo taken with your certificate or Red Dot Trophy. We recommend that you pick up your Red Dot Certificate at the Certificate Counter beforehand and bring it with you for the photo. The resulting pictures will be available for you to download and use freely on the evening of the gala.

In the spotlight: your award-winning product is presented to the public

Your publication in the Winners Section

All award-winning products will be presented in the “Winners” section of the Red Dot website from 24 June. In addition to a detailed description and a statement from the jury, interested parties will also find details of the designers and manufacturers responsible as well as high-quality images.

Your publication in the Red Dot Design Yearbook 2024/25

The Red Dot Design Yearbook 2024/25 will be published in August 2024. If you have ordered a specimen copy or additional yearbooks, we will send them to the address you provided in August. You can purchase additional copies in the Red Dot Winner Shop while stocks last.

Your product in the Red Dot Design Museum

The vernissage of the winning exhibitions “Design on Stage” and “Milestones in Contemporary Design” will take place on the evening of 24 June as part of the Designers’ Night.

Many of the award-winning products can be seen here. As photography and filming are expressly encouraged in our museum, you can take the opportunity to show your product in the context of an internationally acclaimed exhibition.
