How would you define good communication design?
For communication with the public, the important thing is always the content. The cool visual elements and effects are just one of the ways to make a deep impression. The work must be able to move people, let them hope, laugh, reflect, care and love. If the audience feels these little but important things, that is our greatest inspiration.

Why did you become a designer?
I watched the movie “Fight Club” in 1999 and was deeply impressed by director David Fincher’s storytelling method, so I decided to devote myself to image creation. At that time, there was a digital revolution and DV gradually became popular. I took the opportunity and eventually made a documentary, “Moonlighter”, which began to be seen by everyone, and many opportunities followed.

Grass Jelly Studio has won several awards in the competition since 2017. The music video for “Hebe Tien – One, after Another” was awarded a Red Dot: Best of the Best at the Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design 2021.
