A Brand You Can Feel
The Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) has been supporting the visually impaired for over a hundred years. This support is as much about aiding people with sight loss as it is about bridging the gap between sighted and visually impaired communities. It was thus vital that the new corporate design be truly inclusive and equally meaningful to both groups. The solution was a brand identity that is not designed to be seen but relies on tactile properties – a texture that tells the story of the institute through touch.
