The solar modules of the ABC Modules of Aiko are made of monocrystalline silicon and achieve a very high efficiency of 24 per cent. This is achieved thanks to ABC (all back contact) technology, in which both the positive and negative poles are on the back of the cell where passivated structure is achieved. The modules offer excellent technical values such as high conversion effieciency and low power degradation as well as low temperature coefficient. This is accompanied by an exquisite design that fascinated the jury. The modules are finished in pure black and create “a uniform, seamless-appearing surface on the roof with a high aesthetic quality”.
