The AC1200 is a video, sound and movement monitor for smartphones. It allows parents to hear and see their baby at all times, irrespective of their own whereabouts. All they need is a smartphone, tablet or other device with Internet access. Special moments can be shared directly with family and friends via an app. The adjustable camera of this new baby phone leans forward to be able to look directly down into the crib. A gentle nightlight is integrated into the angel-like shape of the unit. The overall silhouette emphasises the product’s caring character.

Statement by the Jury

Coming in an angel-shaped housing, the AC1200 allows parents to hear and see their child via the Internet at all times – a solution that is much more than purely functional.
