This means better visibility for the driver and a larger cabin interior; for the operating company, it signifies possibilities for individual customisation of the vehicle. In the city of Ulm, for instance, the tram was adapted to the prominent paintwork of the city’s fleet. Moreover, the basic modular design of the platform facilitates specific adaption to various urban environments.
