Bundesdruckerei Gruppe GmbH is a state-owned IT security company that, together with its subsidiaries, protects identities, data and infrastructure. A brand relaunch was implemented as part of the introduction of a new corporate structure within the group of companies. Drawing on the existing brand DNA and brand values, a precise and barrier-free corporate design system was defined for all logo families, in which each brand has its own core colour. The superordinate wordmark is short and to the point. The design element linking the parent and subsidiary brands is the “r” in the wordmark, which forms the colourful “frame” for the sub-brands, signals the affiliation with the parent company and boosts overall brand awareness.
