The Elan E6 was designed as a particularly light and fast, fully fitted performance cruiser. The design by Pininfarina reinterprets the look of the Elan E Line to create a strong, sporty appearance. The exterior is dominated by flowing lines. The most recognisable part of the design is the distinctive black folds on the coachroof windows. The interior features a juxtaposition of a traditional and ergonomic sailing yacht layout with modern sporty lines, colours and materials.

Statement by the Jury

The design of this sailing yacht marks a new departure in quite a traditional segment and has an impressive appearance that is exceedingly elegant and contemporary.
