Football-Obsessed Dubai
This project aims to arouse passion for a fictitious football event– the FIFA World Cup 2022 in the United Arab Emirates. The branding is based on hallmarks of the country such as the world’s highest skyscraper and the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi and the Emirates airline fleet. The brightly coloured key visuals create a fresh and dynamic vibe. Thanks to their highly simplified form, the geometric elements can be used flexibly on various advertising materials. They are complemented by a standard font designed with elongated or flattened characters to suit various formats.
