GEM In-Wheel Drive G1.X

The GEM in-wheel drive G1.X hub motor is a universally deployable drive for lightweight two- and three-wheeled electric vehicles. The integration of the motor and controller into the wheel hub simplifies the conversion of a vehicle to an electric drive. The jury was impressed with the compact and lightweight motor, which operates at a low voltage, is air-cooled and generates a minimum of electromagnetic emissions. The design of the wheel hub cover is inspired by the manufacturer’s logo, which visualises a rotary motion. Cooling fins integrated into the design accentuate the visual concept.
