Haili County Stone Nine Cultural Festival

Haili is a small fishing county in Zhejiang, China. The “Stone Nine” cultural festival is held here to promote the area economically and raise funds for restoring Haili’s typical stone houses. Nine colourful key visuals were developed to illustrate the activities of the festival. Featuring a simple graphic style, they reach out to locals as well as participating artists and tourists. The images can be combined to form a complete square, thus referring to the restoration project. The decorative motifs are consistently implemented throughout the brand design, including maps, user interfaces and icons.
