Intelligent Composite Rail-Mounted Inspection Robot

This rail-guided inspection robot is used to detect the condition of cables, the ambient temperature and the operating status of other equipment in cable and supply tunnels. In addition to visual remote maintenance, the system enables AI-based security checks. The optical camera, thermal imaging camera and bright additional lighting are mounted on a mechanical swivel arm. This arm can be moved in all directions and thus ensures comprehensive and error-free inspections. For safety reasons, the batteries are charged contactlessly to avoid exposing the electrodes. The robot can master steep sections of the route with the help of a gear drive.
