This external 1 TB hard drive connects to other devices such as the iPad or a computer via its own Wi-Fi network. Up to five units can simultaneously communicate with the hard drive and transfer data. When connected to a nearby Wi-Fi hotspot, it can provide Internet access for up to four wireless devices. The rechargeable battery powers the hard drive for up to ten hours.
