The housing of these two hard drives – for either mobile or desktop use – is crafted from durable, scratch-resistant aluminium that protects the hard drive mechanics. The USB 3.0 interface enables fast data transfer. An automatic energy-saving mode lowers power consumption by up to 77 per cent when the drive is not in use.
