Although this online fashion retailer is well known in Russia, the overly technological feel of its previous brand image had grown outdated. Therefore, a brand design relaunch was implemented to establish Lamoda as a design-oriented fashion specialist. The goal was to develop a consistent visual system for both online and offline communication that can effectively appeal to millennials. The word “moda” (fashion) proclaimed in the name appears like a label that evokes the legacy of the textile industry, while the tilted “la” of the word mark is used separately as a signet. The brand design showcases lively colours and lends the appearance an emotional appeal.
