Inspired by modern design trends and our affinity for ‘nature-centred’ design, MOUNTAINS is a floor pattern that lets people experience a return to nature. Its construction is eco-friendly, reflecting a commitment to the health of both people and the environment. MOUNTAINS is designed for Armstrong Flooring’s range of floor materials, including Carpet Tiles and LVT multilayer composite flooring. It comes in three colourways, each inspired by the palettes of Chinese landscape paintings. The design also allows for variations in flooring size and shape, resulting in countless combinations. This flexibility and adaptability help to save cost and time during the design and installation stage. The strong sense of natural design also makes it easier for users focus on enhancing their interior space. MOUNTAINS is eco-friendly and sustainable from its composition to the manufacturing process. The design is applied to floor surfaces made from recycled fishing nets recovered from the seabed, which not only recycles raw materials but also protects the ocean environment. Similarly, the base floor components are constructed from recycled food-grade materials, which are biodegradable and reduce the use of natural resources, energy and emissions. The entire production process also strictly follows environment protection standards.
