The Preotact Pre-Filled Pen is a self-injection device for the treatment of osteoporosis. By screwing the pen together, the powder is automatically mixed with the solvent. After attaching the needle, the pen is ready for injecting once the yellow button has been pushed. The counting mechanism resembles a fill-level indicator. It displays the amount of units last injected as well as the units remaining in the cartridge. The oval shape and the radiused edges facilitate a good grip and provide a pleasant feel. A mechanical gearing ensures an easy injection. The heart-shaped label emphasises the pen’s friendly character.

The device enables a simple injection procedure, thus helping to avoid mistakes. The soft and ergonomically shaped surface sits very well in the hand.
