The Proxes Sport 2 Ultra High Performance car tire was developed for high performance, high-torque powertrains.The jury was impressed by the asymmetric tread pattern with diagonal lateral cross grooves that ensure the even distribution of contact forces, enhancing braking performance on both wet and dry roads. The rubber compound also varies: while a flexible polymer matrix is used on the inside so that the tyre hugs the road surface, a special elastic rubber has been chosen for the outside to improve the grip. The optimised sidewall profile provides firm grip and stability during cornering.
