Satisfyer is a brand that belongs to the Triple A Internetshops GmbH based in Bielefeld, Germany, and which provides sexual wellness products and devices. Since it was founded in 2016, the Satisfyer brand has relied on a diversified portfolio that is targeted at women, men and couples. Steadily growing since then, the brand today is one of the leading international providers in the category of sexual wellness with more than 200 love toy products that combine technical innovations with ergonomics and design. In 2019, it was decided to reposition the brand with the aim of getting the products out of the rather perceived sleazy market image and offering people worldwide equal access to products for sexual well-being – regardless of gender, sexual orientation or socio-economic background. The branding and the products thus were to pique curiosity about the diverse and colourful world of sexuality. The new appearance clearly communicates the new positioning of Satisfyer. Thus, the brand design, for example, offers the possibility of combining an infinite number of colours with one another. In this way, the Satisfyer word mark can appear against plain backgrounds in continually different colours. The logo is made up of the abstracted letters S and F, which feature two dots as heads to make them reminiscent of playing figures. Galano Grotesque, a font that is geometric, easy-to-read and expressive, was selected as the corporate typography. The packaging design is marked by filigree illustrations that identify the products as belonging to specific categories. In addition, a pictogram system also based on illustrations consisting of 60 symbols was developed that highlight the most important product features; a further 80 pictograms communicate the various product benefits on the back of the packaging. The points of contact between brand and consumer – such as the website, advertising, app and the products themselves – have been designed to project a modern, playful and courageous appeal and at the same time express diversity, individuality and sexual self-confidence as part of a contemporary lifestyle. The imagery is colourful and visualises a wide variety of different people to promote the diversity of sexual wellness.
