The Second Aid
“The Second Aid” is a disaster kit that originated from the output of OLIVE, a wiki-style website that was launched just 40 hours after the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, in order to share tips and knowledge useful in the event of a disaster. Since the main problem of most existing disaster kits nowadays is that they are too bulky, this one is designed for more convenient storage inside the house, such as in the living room. The packaging design features a white background with a red font, conveying the look of a common first-aid kit.
