twixt: Catalyst Reaction

In preparing the exhibition “twixt” at Asia University, students were encouraged to constantly revise their designs, according to the demands of a rapidly changing world. To promote the exhibition, the organisers establish a link between the design process and a chemical reaction, conceiving the designers’ innovation and creativity as activators and the exhibits as reactants. The key visuals used to communicate this claim are as striking as they are ambiguous. Their tension, shine and colour gradients give a taste of the imaginative power of the exhibits.
