Urban Cross

For aerodynamic efficiency, the Urban Cross e-bike features a seamless frame structure and fully integrated cable routing. During development, the focus was on intelligent systems such as millimetre-wave radar and a networked vehicle concept. An ultra-thin luminous layer of paint generates electroluminescence and creates patterns that improve visibility in the dark. In addition, infrared sensors deliver specific safety warnings.

Statement by the Jury

The use of electroluminescence gives the Urban Cross e-bike a unique look and also increases the safety of the rider.
