Uria

Back Download

The pointy, cone-shaped egg of the Common Murre, a marine bird, inspired the harmoniously curved design of this cutlery. With Uria, the naming quotes the scientific term of Common Murre. The appealing form language strives for the transformation of two spheres. The soft, organic shape was closely processed with the movement of the metal surface from convex to concave. The lines, which give the elaborate cutlery an independent profile, have a particularly puristic effect. The carefully selected overall size ratio makes the cutlery a natural extension of the hand. The cutlery comprises a series of eight pieces, made of shiny polished stainless steel.
