Y1 is an agency that has been developing bespoke e-commerce solutions for its clients for over 20 years now, with the central aim of combining analogue and digital elements as seamlessly as possible. The brand relaunch has put this approach at the forefront of the agency’s communication and visuals. Thus, the new claim “Digital Love” expresses the apparent contradiction between technology and emotion, between the analogue and the digital realm. This play on contrasts also defines the visual identity: whereas the black-and-white logo is pared back and functional, collages, luminous colours and sparingly used complementary accent colours play an important role in the brand communication by generating attention, excitement and visibility.
