The challenge for this relaunch was to bring a 180-year-old company of lock makers with their heritage in mechanical engineering into the digital era. The new brand design presents Yale as a unified, forward-thinking consumer brand with a consistent look and feel across multiple regions and retail environments, as well as online and internally. The brand communication is marked by the corporate colour of yellow. Complementing the new brand mark, visual elements such as colour gradients, shadows and light elements create a concise overall image. The tagline “Trusted every day” emphasises that people trust Yale with what they value most.
