The JOY6.0 compact outboard motor consists of an independent unit that includes the engine and electronic control system. It is suitable for various types of boat and is mounted on the stern. Hardware design, software control strategy and other aspects are focused on safety and reliability – for example, an emergency switch has been integrated in case a passenger goes overboard. The mechanical design includes an external water cooling system, a reverse gear locking mechanism and a waterproof motor.
