The book “Lügnern auf der Spur” (how to detect liars) explores lies from different perspectives. Photographs of faces demonstrate which muscles are activated by different emotions and how to spot indications of a lie in facial expressions. Many readers will only notice after having read the book that the sweet smile on the cover is false and therefore indicative of a lie. The book’s design concept is precise and consistent, thus bringing together the individual pages containing photographs, quotations, information, interviews and graphics in a uniform design.
