The private logo and stationery for the director of the Nezu Museum and his wife have been conceptualised independently from the museum’s corporate design while also providing a subtle connection. Inspired by the initials of these two individuals, the design is marked by personalised colour coding: platinum for him and jade green for her. For joint correspondence, both colours are combined into a Möbius strip, a symbol of eternal bonding that represents the couple’s relationship. The logo maintains a traditional formal language, transferred into a modern and Western context.
