Thinking outside the box

Both Beijing Jiaotong University and the Central Academy of Fine Arts attach great importance to ensuring that their students gain not only theoretical knowledge but also experience of its practical, interdisciplinary application. Reflecting this, they organised the “202DC Park” exhibition series in cooperation with Exactly Technology Co. Ltd., spending two years on its planning and realisation. The main aim was to research image concepts of the Han dynasty and their contemporary presentation. In addition to producing the storytelling, visual transformation and spatial design, the students also developed all of the publicity materials.
