Maslina Resort is a five-star hotel on the island of Hvar, Croatia. The brand design picks up on the aesthetics of the architecture, especially the facade’s cladding with vertical beams, as the resort blends seamlessly into its natural surroundings. This feature is reflected in the logo, which is composed of rows of broken and solid lines, reminiscent of the interplay between sunlight and the shadows of the facade during the day. With each part of the logo being used separately for a wide variety of applications or in combination with one-line art illustrations, the visual identity fits well with the natural building materials.
