This attention-grabbing brand promotion was developed for the 20th Platinum Originality – an international competition for design students. The claim “We Are in Sync” refers to findings in quantum mechanics: when the state of one particle is changed, the other particle will also change instantaneously, even if they are far apart. This mysterious correlation between particles is seen as a metaphor for people’s interaction with internet technology during the epidemic. Inspired by this thought, the key visuals of the 2020 competition showcase a dynamic visual language of movement, underlined by fascinating colour gradients.
