Registration fees
Entry fees vary according to the time of entry and include logistical processing, preparation of information supplied, preparation of a jury dossier, presentation during the jury session and, if applicable, storage until the winners exhibition. Participants of the Red Dot: Junior Award receive a 10% discount on the participation fee.
Costs in the event of winning a distinction
In the event of winning a distinction in the Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design, the booking of the Winner Package is mandatory. The package includes, among other things, the use of the winner label and the presentation of the project in the yearbook, the winners exhibition and online. Below you will find the costs per Winner Package, excl. VAT, and the associated services.
Participants of the Red Dot: Junior Award receive a 20% discount on the Regular Winner Package.
The Winner Package “Regular” for winners of the “Red Dot” award includes the following services:
- Use of the Red Dot Label
- Two copies of the Red Dot Certificates in DIN A4 format
- Presentation of the award-winning work on a single page in the International Yearbook Brands & Communication Design
- Publication of the award-winning work in the Winners Section at www.red-dot.org
- Presentation of the award-winning work in the winners exhibition
*All Red Dot winners have the opportunity to book the more extensive Winner Package and, in addition to the services mentioned above, present their winning project on a double page instead of a single page in the International Yearbook Brands & Communication Design. Furthermore, there is the opportunity to present themselves with an online winner profile in the Winners Section at www.red-dot.org. The winner profile can be booked for 950 euros. Winning projects in the categories “Film & Animation” and “Sound Design” will receive a video presentation including a QR code in the yearbook. For all other categories, the video presentation can be booked for an additional 150 euros.

Winner Package for the distinctions “Red Dot: Best of the Best” and “Red Dot: Grand Prix”
The Red Dot: Best of the Best is the distinction for very high design quality, which is only awarded to projects that impress with their excellent design quality and creative achievement. The distinction “Red Dot: Grand Prix” is given for outstanding design. It goes to the best work in a category that is characterised by exceptional creativity and design quality.
The Winner Package “Regular” for winners of the “Red Dot: Best of the Best” and “Red Dot: Grand Prix“ awards includes the following services:
- Use of the Red Dot Label
- Red Dot Trophy
- Two framed copies of the Red Dot Certificates in DIN A3 format
- Presentation of the award-winning work on a highlighted double-page in the International Yearbook Brands & Communication Design
- A double-page winner profile in the International Yearbook Brands & Communication Design
- An online winner profile in the Winners Section at www.red-dot.org
- Publication of the award-winning work in the Winners Section at www.red-dot.org
- Presentation of the award-winning work in the winners exhibitions
- 2 tickets for the Red Dot Gala and the subsequent Designers’ Night in Berlin
- Handing over of the Red Dot Trophy during the Red Dot Gala
