Agencies, designers and companies from all over the world submit their creative achievements and brand communication in various categories of the Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design. Young professionals have the chance to receive the Red Dot: Junior Prize, which is part of the competition. A jury evaluates all entries and decides which will receive the Red Dot seal of quality. The jurors can choose to award the works a Red Dot, a Red Dot: Best of the Best or the Red Dot: Grand Prix. The winner label enjoys an international reputation and is present in all major markets.

The Red Dot is the distinction for high design quality. The international jury awards the sought-after mark of quality only to projects and brands that win over the jury with their good design quality and creative achievement.

Red Dot: Best of the Best

The Red Dot: Best of the Best is the distinction for very high design quality. Only projects and brands that win over the jury with their very good design quality and creative achievement are awarded the Red Dot: Best of the Best.

Red Dot: Grand Prix

The Red Dot: Grand Prix is awarded for outstanding design. It is awarded to the best work in a category in the Communication Design section that is characterised by exceptional creativity and design quality.

Red Dot: Junior Prize

The Red Dot: Junior Prize comes with a prize money of 10,000 euros and is awarded to the best work by a young professional.
